It all happened when the whole nation was submerged in love of TV series Dirilis Ertugrul. Ertugrul is a famous historical fiction across Muslims as it brings back the glory of Muslims era and their ethics of War and Peace. At one place, after conquering the castle, Muslims allow all Christians to practice their faith peacefully.
Muslim in today's world are familiar with the peace-building efforts of their ancestors who spread the word of kindness and act of humility between Muslims and non-Muslims. The only difference is this that they no longer observe it on any level among Muslim politicians and Nations. Muslims today observe relentless extremism, biased interpretation of the scripture and violent practices based on it.
This is surely not a face of Islam.
Muslims are even at the highest risk of getting (adversely) affected by this fanaticism.
The incident of Mach in Pakistan is one of them. It seems that Pakistan is on verge of waging a war with radicals. It is an obvious fact that the radicalism has devoured amity of many other nations before.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was and is one of the most important figure in the history of faith and politics who rose against social injustices to spread the word of harmony. He has advocated the codes of War to all the Muslims.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) commanded the following uncompromising rules of war with non-muslims:
O people! I charge you with ten rules; learn them well... for your guidance in the battlefield! Do not commit treachery, or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman, nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not any of the enemy’s flock, save for your food. You are likely to pass by people who have devoted their lives to monastic services; leave them alone.
Even he continued to command his people that if your neighbours (Muslim or non-Muslim) sleep empty-stomach then you will be asked about this on the day of judgement.
It is compulsory for all 
the Muslims across the world to condemn the practices of extremists who ceaselessly struggle to sabotage the message of Islam. The holy book of Quran asks it's followers to allow people to practice their faiths freely.
On another place regarding sanctity of a human life, Qur’an (5:32) states: ‘whoever saves the life of a person is as if he has saved the life of the whole of humankind’. The Qur’an teaches (2:213) that the humankind is one family and the Qur’an (21:170) is mercy for the mankind.
On the contrary, handful of people are ganging up in different parts of the world to reinforce their radical practices over the teachings of Islam which is completely abhorrible and unacceptable.
from a very different angle, I find it an opportunity for all the Muslims today if we all retrospectively look at the history of Muslims, we can learn a lot from the attitudes of notables and injunctions of Islam above all about securing lives and property of people from different faiths let alone the factions within the tenet of Islam.
